Two men were arrested after one allegedly shot at a Seattle police officer traveling in his marked patrol car on Rainier Ave. early Sunday.

The officer was driving toward S. Juneau when he spotted the two men. One of the men pointed a gun at the officer and fired.

The officer, uninjured, pulled around the block and called for help.

The two men were stopped at Rainier and Mead and positively identified. Both suspects were arrested and booked into King County Jail for Investigation of Assault and Investigation of Violation of Uniform Firearms Act.

I have to drive through there on the way from job #1 to job #2. I 'm glad they caught them. I think the cops there are jerks after pulling me over continuously for a broken taillight that they knew the parts were on order for, but they don't deserve to be shot at. I just wished the officer fired back and killed those two punks. I'm sick of this.

Come on KIRO people. I saw that and my heart stopped for a second. It sounds as though ANOTHER officer was shot. Should read: Two men arrested for shooting AT an Officer.

    Too bad...
It would have a better story if the officer had been able to kill both of those fools...Maybe next time...

    The question now is
will they be released on bail, knowing that since they have no fear of assaulting police officers, they are dangerous to all citizens? These scum illegally had weapons and used them so I hope that adds at least 5 years to their sentence.

    Wouldnt surprise me if...
some idiot public defender was able to get some idiot judge to allow these idiots to post bail. That way they can pose a risk to innocent citizens. But...I love the But Monkey, But..maybe if they were able to get out they might meet the same fate as that freak Clemmons..
